Once upon a time, there were two lovely, beautiful couples. Scott & Peggy. Bob & Elaine. Each of these couples were deeply in love, and had amazing marriages, wonderful families, and a happily ever after to put all others to shame.
That is, until Scott lost Peggy. And Elaine lost Bob.
Then there were two lonely souls who each felt half complete.
One day, Elaine decided to attend a support group for people with who were grieving the loss of their spouses. It was there she met Scott for the first time, and they wouldn’t see each other again for a year. When they randomly ran into one another at the grocery store, they both felt like they’d found something they didn’t even know they were looking for. And they’ve been inseparable ever since. <3
This past Saturday was the celebration of the resurrection of love for these two beautiful people, and we could NOT have had a better day! The sun was warm and golden, Elaine & Scott’s families were sweet and inviting, and their sweet little granddaughters stole the entire show! The ceremony was heartfelt, with little nods to Elaine’s goofiness here and there (dancing down the aisle to Pharrell’s “Happy”??? YES PLEASE!), and of course their faith took center stage and set the tone not only for this wedding day, but for the rest of their lives!
You know what they say…a picture says a thousand words. So instead of rambling on and on about these two, we’ll just let you see for yourself!
Congratulations Scott & Elaine! We hope you two enjoy this little preview! We can’t wait to get the rest of your wedding images to you!
