This day has been in the making for so long, and it’s so hard to believe it’s already come and gone! When we first met Eric & Eliza, it was love at first sight! They walked into our studio, we chatted, laughed, connected, and basically became friends. And then when we walked out the door, we looked at each other and said, “Oh my gosh…we love them! We hope they book with us!” And little did we know, as soon as they got in their car and started driving away they felt the exact same way! And we really think that came through in the images from that day. Because we absolutely adore these two, it was easy to laugh and giggle with them and to serve them by getting the photos we knew would be important to them!
Leading up to the day, we were all a little concerned about the weather. All of this planning and time, and the forecast was saying it was going to pour on us all day! But thankfully when we showed up, it was bright, warm, and a perfect June day! Not even a cloud in sight! We walked into the bridal suite and all of Eliza’s sweet family and friends were buzzing around getting ready. And oh my gosh…these fabulous ladies were SO helpful! Not only were they helping Eliza, but they also helped us a little! Be warned bridal party members…we will put you to work if you offer. 😉 Bridesmaids were cleaning up the room to make way for Eliza’s GORGEOUS dress, and even held reflectors and diffusers for us when we took Eliza outside to do her bridal portraits!
Then the first look happened. Swoooooooon! Eric was SO close to crying, and he just scooped up his (almost!) wifey and gave her the most wonderful hug and the sweetest kiss! You can tell that he loves her SO much, and Eliza was just overtaken with happy tears all day…it made it hard for us to hold it together!
The ceremony was amazing. A close friend got ordained JUST to officiate their wedding, and it was honestly one of the most heartfelt ceremonies we’ve ever witnessed. And the reception? Oh man. It. Was. AWESOME. Everyone was out on the dance floor, and the staff from Nazareth Hall killed it as usual!
Congratulations Eric & Eliza! We are so over the moon for you two, and can’t wait to show you the rest of the pictures when you get back!
